      The pupa of this pest species is Brown in color, occurs in soil, leaf, pod, and crop debris

      The Adult Female is a brownish yellow stout moth and the Male is light greenish in color with “V” shaped markings.

2. Spider Mites

These are other dangerous small pests, responsible for destroying your crop. They are mostly found on black pepper plants.

One female can lay up to 20 eggs per day and can live for 2 to 4 weeks, laying hundreds of eggs and hence making a complete dynasty of their own. Spider mites are quite small in size and vary in color. They lay small, spherical, initially transparent eggs.

3. Thrips

Lesions on leaves start appearing in circular shapes and the plant ultimately suffers from water-soaked spots. Slowly, Spots become necrotic with brown centers and strange chlorotic borders. And then enlarged spots may develop straw-colored centers to form a complete whole. This may sometimes lead to the permanent loss of a complete plant.

This can be easily prepared from either fresh hot peppers or chili pepper powder. To make a basic chili spray, you have to mix a tablespoon of chili powder with four cups of water and several drops of mild liquid soap. This mixture can be used full-strength on the leaves of affected plants and thus it will make them pests free and free from chili nursery diseases
