Description
Yellow cherry tomatoes are small, round, golden-yellow fruits that grow in long clusters. They are sweet and mild with low acidity, which makes them ideal for salads, snacking, garnishing and cooking. Their bright colour also makes them an attractive addition to any kitchen garden, terrace or balcony.
Cherry tomatoes grow best in warm weather, full sun and well-drained, fertile soil. Sow seeds in a nursery tray and transplant the seedlings after 3 to 4 weeks. The plants grow tall, so support them with stakes or a trellis. Water regularly to keep the soil evenly moist but not waterlogged.
